Abstract

U ovom radu bavit ćemo se analizom Koncerta za ksilofon i gudački orkestar Borisa Papandopula. Njegov opus koji bilježi gotovo 490 kompozicija prikazuje bogatstvo glazbenog jezika te različitih kompozicijskih tehnika zbog čega se smatra jednim od najznačajnijih i najplodonosnijih hrvatskih skladatelja. U cjelokupnoj analizi svih stavaka ovog koncerta bazirat ćemo se na elementima harmonije, polifonije, oblika i određenih kompozicijskih tehnika i na taj način utvrditi pripadnost glazbenom jeziku i utjecaju različitih stilova koji su doprinijeli stvaranju ovoga djela. Također ćemo pisati o skladateljevom životu i spomenuti neka od njegovih bitnijih djela koja se smatraju svojevrsnim predstavnicima Papandopulovog bogatog i raznolikog glazbenog izričaja

Abstract (english)

This paper analyses the Concerto for Xylophone and String Orchestra by Boris Papandopulo. His work, including almost 490 compositions, represents the richness of musical language, as well as the diversity of compositional techniques, which makes him one of the most important and most prolific composers in Croatia. By analysing all the elements of the concert, the emphasis will be put on the elements of harmony, polifony and certain compositional techniques. In that way the type of musical language and the influence of various styles will be determined. Furthermore, the paper explores the composer's life pinpointing some of his most important works, which are considered to be the representatives of Papandopulo's rich and diverse musical style.
