Abstract

Ovaj se diplomski rad bavi nastankom i popularizacijom žanra zagorske zabavne glazbe s naglaskom na period od 1960-ih do 1990-ih godina prošlog stoljeća te njegovim suvremenim statusom. Fenomen lokalnog žanra tzv. „zagorije“ promatra se unutar društveno-političkog konteksta navedenog vremena prvenstveno na prostoru Hrvatskog zagorja, ali uzimaju se u obzir i vanjski utjecaji njegova nastanka. Središnji dio rada posvećen je festivalu zabavne glazbe „Igrajte nam mužikaši“ u Bedekovčini, koji je odigrao značajnu ulogu u popularizaciji žanra zagorske zabavne glazbe u njenim počecima. Koncept lokalnih zagorskih sastava i glazbenih značajki glazbe koju oni izvode detaljnije se prikazuje kroz prizmu studije slučaja – glazbenog sastava „Lepi Cajti“. U posljednjem se poglavlju raspravlja o razlozima nagle depopularizacije zagorskog žanra te konteksta izvođenja i percepcije zagorske zabavne glazbe danas.

Abstract (english)

This MA thesis deals with the emergence and popularization of popular music of Zagorje with an emphasis on the period from the 1960s to the 1990s of the last century and its contemporary status. The phenomenon of the local genre, the so-called "zagorija" is observed within the socio-political context of that time, primarily in the area of Hrvatsko Zagorje, but the external influences of its origin are also taken into account. The central part of the work is dedicated to the festival of popular music "Igrajte nam mužikaši" in Bedekovčina, which played a significant role in popularizing the popular music genre of Zagorje in its beginnings. The concept of local Zagorje bands and musical features of the music they perform is presented in more detail through the prism of the case study – the musical band "Lepi Cajti". The last chapter discusses the reasons for the sudden depopularization of the Zagorje genre and the context of the performance and perception of Zagorje entertainment music today.
