Tema ovog diplomskog rada je analiza 8. etide Györgya Ligetija. Rad sadrži kratak pregled skladateljeve biografije s najznačajnijim djelima, osvrt na ciklus Ligetijevih etida, analizu 8. etide te promišljanja o njenoj interpretaciji. Analiza je usmjerena na ritamske i tonske strukture i vjerujem da sam se dotaknuo nekih aspekata sadržaja koji nisu dosad bili analizirani u literaturi, ili barem ne u onoj meni dostupnoj. Ova etida svakako spada među najpoznatije i najizvođenije Ligetijeve etide te je baš zato bila povlastica, uz mentorovu asistenciju, dublje proniknuti u ovo briljantno i intrigantno Ligetijevo djelo. Abstract (english)

The subject of this graduate thesis is the analysis of the eighth étude Fém by György Ligeti. It contains a short overview of composer's biography with the most important works, the review of his études, the analysis of the étude and deliberations of interpretation. The analysis is aiming for rhythmic and chord structures and I believe that I have spoken of some aspects that haven't been analysed in the literature that was at my disposal. This étude surely belongs to the most well- known and performed Ligeti's études, so it was a great privilege, with the mentor's assistant, to get a deeper insight in this brilliant and intriguing Ligeti’s work.
