Abstract
Opisujući ukratko povijest jazza, ovaj rad se bavi istraživačkim i analitičkim pristupom raznim tehnikama koje su koristili jazz-pijanisti 20. stoljeća, koristeći se pritom notnim primjerima pretežito nastalim transkribiranjem zvučnih zapisa njihova muziciranja na koncertnim podijima ili u studiju. Osim svjetskih jazz-pijanista u radu se spominju i neki istaknuti hrvatski glazbenici, među kojima i Matija Dedić, s kojim je napravljen i kratak intervju. Na kraju, autor ovog rada predstavlja vlastitu obradu poznate narodne pjesme iz svog zavičaja ''Vehni, vehni folica'', u kojoj je koristio neke od navedenih tehnika.
Abstract (english)
Briefly describing the jazz history, this paper deals with research and analytical approaches to the various techniques used by jazz pianists of the 20th century, using the sheet music of the mostly transcribed soundtracks of their music at concerts or in the studio. In addition to the world jazz pianists, some of the prominent Croatian musicians, including Matija Dedić, with whom a brief interview was made, are also listed. Finally, the author of this work presents his own elaboration of a famous folk song from his native region "Vehni, vehni folica", in which he used some of the mentioned techniques.
