Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu opisana je skeletalna struktura i muskulatura larinksa vodeći se
medicinskim izvorima s područja anatomije. Detaljno je opisan rad grupe mišića direktno zadužene
za fonaciju, ali i preostalih mišićnih grupa koje indirektno potpomažu pjevački ton. Premisa jest da
poznavanje vlastitog vokalnog aparata omogućava pjevaču postizanje balansiranog tona, odnosno
koordinacije muskulature larinksa u skladu s dišnim sustavom. Balansirani pjevački ton podijeljen
je u tri faze: zapjev, suspenzija i završetak, a za svaku su opisani preduvjeti za koordinaciju u radu
vokalnog aparata. Obrađene su najčešće pogreške u radu laringealnih mišićnih grupa kao i moguća
rješenja za usklađivanje antagonističkog odnosa dvaju glavnih intrinzičnih mišića larinksa,
tiroaritenoida i krikotiroida. Anatomski opis intrinzične i ekstrinzične muskulature larinksa
potkrijepljen je grafičkim prikazom preuzetim iz specijalizirane medicinske aplikacije za iPad. Na
kraju rada koordinacija muskulature larinksa se definira u kontekstu cijelog pjevačkog instrumenta,
prvenstveno uz adekvatnu potporu dišnog sustava.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis skeletal and muscular structure of the larynx are described using medical resources
from the field of anatomy. Functions of the muscle group directly involved in phonation are
explained in detail, as well as other muscles groups which indirectly support singer's tone. Premise
is that the knowledge of one's vocal apparatus enables the singer to achieve a balanced tone, i.e.
coordination of the laryngeal muscles in relation to the breathing. Balanced singing tone is divided
in three phases: onset, sustain and release, and for each one preconditions for coordinated function
of the vocal apparatus are described. Most common mistakes involving laryngeal muscle groups
are explored, as well as balancing the antagonistic relationship of the two main intrinsic muscles
of the larynx, thyroarytenoid and cricothyroid. Anatomical description of intrinsic and extrinsic
laryngeal muscles is supported by graphical display extracted from the specialized medical iPad
application. In the end, coordination of the laryngeal muscles is defined in the context of the entire
singer's instrument, including the adequate support from the breathing mechanism.
