Abstract
Prvi dio rada se osvrće na povijesni razvoj tambure i tamburaškog orkestra, te na značajnije skladatelje za tamburu. Drugi dio rada nudi pregled nefolklornog (umjentičkog) repertoara za tamburu - ovo se odnosi na ulomke iz opere, operete, izvorna djela za tamburu te suvremene aranžmane za tamburu.
