Abstract
Cilje je ovog rada prikazati neke aspekte korištenja foklorne građe te njeno značenje unutar hrvatske glazbe druge polovice dvadesetog stoljeća. Pri tome nisu uzeti u razmatranje opusi onih skladatelja koje, iako su djelovali u drugoj polovici dvadesetog stoljeća, smatramo predstavnicima tzv. nacionalnog smjera - Ive Brkanovića, Slavka Zlatića, te donekle i Borisa Papandopula, već opusi onih skladatelja koji su se orijentirali prema novom glazbenom izrazu i skladateljskim tehnikama (N. Devčić, B. Sakač, I. Malec, M. Kelemen, S. Horvat, R. Radica, I. Kuljerić, F. Parać).
