Abstract

Ovaj rad bavi se analizom razvijanja suvremene glazbe od 1950-ih s posebnim naglaskom na karakteristike i inovacije pojedinih pravaca koji su se oblikovali tijekom 70 godina. Posebna pažnja posvećena je interpretaciji suvremene glazbe koja je razmatrana kroz prizmu njezinih specifičnih zahtjeva poput pripreme izvedbe, razumijevanja skladateljskih ideja i angažmana izvođača. Klavir, kao jedan od temeljnih instrumenata suvremene glazbe, pokazuje izvanrednu prilagodljivost, otvarajući nove zvučne mogućnosti i nudeći prostor za inovaciju kroz suvremene tehnike i pristupe. Unatoč svojim izazovima, suvremena glazba značajno doprinosi glazbenoj umjetnosti, pružajući platformu za razvoj novih kreativnih ideja i estetskih smjerova.

Abstract (english)

This thesis analyzes the development of contemporary music since the 1950s, with a particular focus on the characteristics and innovations of individual movements that have emerged over the past 70 years. Special attention is given to the interpretation of contemporary music, examined through the lens of its specific demands, such as performance preparation, understanding the composer's intentions and the performer's engagement. The piano, as one of the foundational instruments of contemporary music, demonstrates remarkable adaptability, opening up new sonic possibilities and providing space for innovation through modern techniques and approaches. Despite its challenges, contemporary music makes a significant contribution to the art of music, offering a platform for the development of new creative ideas and aesthetic directions.
