Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad istražuje ulogu glazbene improvizacije u odgojno-obrazovnom procesu te njezin potencijal za razvoj kreativnosti i stvaralačkih sposobnosti učenika. Rad analizira definicije improvizacije, njen povijesni razvoj i neuroznanstvene aspekte koji se odnose na kognitivne procese uključene u proces improvizacije. Također, predstavlja metode Carla Orffa i Elly Bašić, koji koriste improvizaciju kao ključni element u svom pedagoškom pristupu. Kroz intervjue s profesionalnim glazbenicima, Krešimirom Klarićem, Juricom Leikauffom i Snježanom Stojaković, istražuju se njihova iskustva s improvizacijom, kako je ona utjecala na njihov umjetnički razvoj i kako ju primjenjuju u svom pedagoškom radu. Zaključuje se da improvizacija nije samo tehnička i intelektualna vještina, već alat za kreativno izražavanje i poticanje dubljeg razumijevanja glazbe kod učenika.

Abstract (english)

This thesis explores the role of musical improvisation in the educational process and its potential for developing students' creativity and artistic abilities. It analyzes the definitions of improvisation, its historical development, and the neuroscientific aspects related to the cognitive processes involved in improvisation. Additionally, it presents the methods of Carl Orff and Elly Bašić, who use improvisation as a key element in their pedagogical approach. Through interviews with professional musicians Krešimir Klarić, Jurica Leikauff, and Snježana Stojaković, their experiences with improvisation are explored, including how it influenced their artistic development and how they apply it in their teaching. The thesis concludes that improvisation is not only a technical and intellectual skill but also a tool for creative expression and fostering a deeper understanding of music in students.
