Abstract

Ovaj se rad bavi promatranjem i analizom elemenata narodne glazbe istočne Europe inkorporiranih u Koncert za orkestar Bele Bartóka. Najprije je djelo smješteno u glazbeno-povijesni kontekst te je prikazano etnomuzikološko područje Bartókova interesa, kao i njegova veza za skladateljevo glazbeno stvaralaštvo. Na temelju autorovih transkripcija narodne glazbe s područja Mađarske i susjednih zemalja napravljene su komparativne analize elemenata iz narodnih pjesama i plesova parafraziranih u Koncertu za orkestar s glazbenim temama u koncertu. Nakon dobivenih analiza uspoređen je utjecaj narodnih tradicija različitih geografskih područja, u odnosu na ostale glazbene utjecaju u djelu. Osim velikog utjecaja mađarske i rumunjske narodne glazbe u djelu je prvi put parafrazirana glazba naroda s prostora bivše Jugoslavije, konkretno s područja Istre i Kvarnera, Hercegovine i Srbije. Rad se zaključuje osvrtom na elemente glazbenog folklora kao vodilju pri interpretaciji djela.

Abstract (english)

In this work we analyse the elements of Eastern European folk music incorporated in Bela Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra. First, the work is placed in a musical-historical context, and the ethnomusicological area of Bartók's interest as well as his connection to musical creativity is shown. Based on the author's transcriptions of folk music from the territory of Hungary and neighboring countries, comparative analyzes of elements of folk songs and dances paraphrased in the Concerto for Orchestra with musical themes in the Concerto. After the obtained analyses, the influence of folk traditions of different geographical areas was compared, in relation to other musical influences in this work. In addition to the great influence of Hungarian and Romanian folk music, Bartók paraphrases for the first time the music of peoples from the area of former Yugoslavia, specifically from the area of Istria and Kvarner, Herzegovina and Serbia. In conclusion, we look back to the elements of musica folklore as a guide in the interpretation of this big symphonic work.
