Abstract

Ovaj rad govori o primjeni muzikoterapije u liječenju onkoloških pacijenata i širokoj primjeni muzikoterapije na mnogobrojne probleme s kojima se suočavaju pacijenti oboljeli od malignih bolesti. Također, rad se bavi samom definicijom muzikoterapije, njenom poviješću i njenim metodama. Objašnjava se i primjena muzikoterapije kao prijeko potrebnog oblika unutar okvira psihosocijalne podrške oboljelima od malignih bolesti, zatim utjecaj glazbe na tijelo čovjeka te se ističu pozitivni rezultati muzikoterapije na neke od simptoma malignih oboljenja kao što su, na primjer, bol i umor.

Abstract (english)

This paper discusses about the application of music therapy in treating oncology patients and the broad application of music therapy on the many problems which patients sick with malignant diseases have to face. Also, this paper deals with the sole definition of music therapy, its history and its methods. It explains the application of music therapy as a form of much needed psychosocial support to people who suffering from malignant diseases, the effect of music to the human body and it points out the positive results of music therapy on some of the symptoms of malignant diseases such as pain and fatigue.
