Abstract

U svom radu govorit ću o povijesti Glazbene škole Požega od njenog osnutka pa sve do današnjeg dana. Navest ću one događaje koji su bitniji za razvoj Škole i tko je zaslužan za te događaje. Većinu svog rada govoriti ću o jednom od odjela u Glazbenoj školi Požega, a to je Odjel za puhače i udaraljke. Cilj mi je navesti nastavnike koji su djelovali u Školi, neka od njihovih dostignuća i daljnje ciljeve za razvoj tog Odjela. Poseban naglasak bit će na djelovanju i doprinosu mr. Veljka Valentina Škorvage koji je Glazbenu školu Požega pretvorio u jednu od najmodernijih glazbenih škola u Republici Hrvatskoj.

Abstract (english)

In my work, I will talk about the history of the Music School in Požega from its foundation until today. I will list those events that are more important for the development of the School and who is responsible for those events. Most of my work I will talk about one of the departments at the Požega Music School, namely the Wind and Percussion Department. My goal is to list the teachers who worked at the School, some of their achievements and further goals for the development of that Department. Special emphasis will be placed on the work and contribution of M.Sc. Veljko Valentina Škorvaga, who turned the Požega Music School into one of the most modern music schools in the Republic of Croatia.
