Abstract

Tonalitetna nestabilnost druge teme u sonatnim ekspozicijama J. Haydna i W. A. Mozarta očituje se u mnogim stavcima u vidu specifičnih tonalitetnih istupanja (uklona). Upečatljiva izvornost ovog postupka ogleda se prilikom analize svih njegovih glazbenih parametara, a napose harmonije i oblika. Harmonijski, ukloni nerijetko dovode do uključivanja tonaliteta iz subdominantnog kruga (često udaljenih za tri i više predznaka) u tonalitet druge teme. Repertoar harmonijskih postupaka koji se pritom upotrebljavaju uključuje (pored dijatonskih i kromatskih sredstava) niz zanimljivih enharmonijskih postupaka koji u okviru bečke klasike predstavljaju naročiti kuriozitet. S formalne strane ukloni također mogu imati različite uloge: od interpolacije i digresije do poništenja harmonijsko-formalnog usmjerenja glazbenog zbivanja. Konačno, ukloni u drugoj temi bacaju svjetlo na mnoga pitanja o strukturi sonatnog oblika kao i strukturi glazbenog jezika druge polovice 18. stoljeća - pitanja koja ostaju otvorena budućem istraživanju.

Abstract (english)

The tonal instability of the subordinate theme in sonata expositions of Haydn and Mozart manifests itself in part trough tonal shifts which are present in many sonata movements. The remarkable originality of this procedure becomes evident in analysis of every major component of music, particularly in the domain of harmony and musical form. Harmonicaly, tonal shifts frequently introduce remote keys from the flat side into the processes of the subordinate theme. The arsenal of harmonic procedures which are thereby employed includes also (besides diatonic and chromatic procedures) a series of interesting enharmonic curiosities. Formaly, tonal shifts can have various functions, which range from formal digression and interpolation to abandonement of harmonic and formal directions. Finaly, tonal shifts in subordinate themes throw light on many questions about the structure of classic sonata form in general, as well as that of harmonic language in the second half of the eighteenth century in particular - questions which are left open for further investigation.
