Abstract

Improvizacija je pojam koji podrazumijeva slobodu umjetnika. Nastaje u trenutku i ne zapisuje se. Kao takva je „strano tijelo“ u cjelokupnom učenju o teoriji glazbe i njenom izvođenju. Zahtijeva visoku razinu znanja, vještina te snalaženje izvođača. U ovom ću se radu posvetiti improvizaciji u umjetnostima, kognitivnim zahtjevima koje stavlja pred umjetnika te važnosti poznavanja značajki stila koje odlikuju određeno razdoblje. Nadalje, posvetiti ću pozornost orguljskoj improvizaciji te njenom razvoju od 15. do 20. stoljeća. Usporedba jezika i glazbe koja je zadnji dio rada, nastala je kao želja za dubljim povezivanjem među umjetnostima koje u sebi kriju čar improvizacije.

Abstract (english)

Improvisation is a term which assumes the freedom of the artist. It happens in the moment, and therefore, isn't written down. As such it is a "foreign object" in the study of music theory and it's performance. Improvisation requires a high degree of knowledge, skill and keenes on the part of the performer. This thesis is dedicated to improvisation in the arts, and the cognitive challenges it poses to the artists, in addition to the importance of knowing the key stylistic aspects which accent certain stylistic periods. Furthermore, the thesis will focus on organ improvisation in its development from the 15th to the 20th centuries. The comparison between language and music, which marks the last part of the thesis, grew out of the desire for a deeper connection between art forms which carry the beauty of improvisation in their depths
