Abstract

U ovom radu provedena je analiza likova iz odabranih opernih djela, libreta kojih se zasnivaju na bajci o Pepeljugi. Odabrane su četiri opere (Cenerentola Gioachina Rossinija, Cendrillon Julesa Masseneta, Cendrillon Pauline Viardot i Cinderella Alme Deutscher), koje su nastale u različitim glazbenim okruženjima, a zajednička im je poveznica upravo libreto s istom temom. Analiza likova temelji se na trima aspektima, a to su psihološka karakterizacija lika, uloga lika na sceni i glavne karakteristike vokalne dionice lika. Na kraju diplomskog rada nalazi se pregled mjuzikala, baleta i filmova s tematikom o Pepeljugi. U dodatku se nalaze tablični prikazi spomenutih opera po činovima s naslovima muzičkih brojeva i likovima koji ih pjevaju.

Abstract (english)

This work presents an analysis of characters from selected operas, whose librettos are based upon fairy tales about Cinderella. Four operas (Cenerentola by Gioachino Rossini, Cendrillon by Jules Massenet, Cendrillon by Pauline Viardot and Cinderella by Alma Deutscher), which are coming from different musical and historical background, and their common link is the libretto with the same theme. Character analysis is based on three aspects, psychological characterization of the character, the role of the character on the stage, and the main characteristics of the vocal section of the character. At the end of the thesis there is a review of musicals, ballets, and films about Cinderella. In the appendix there are tabular representations of the mentioned operas by acts with the titles of musical numbers and the characters who sing them.
