Abstract

Uloga dirigenta u glazbi na ovaj ili onaj način postoji stoljećima, no dirigent kao muzičar interpretator postaje autonomno zvanje tek u drugoj polovici 19. stoljeća. U kontekstu zborskog muziciranja, dirigent je svakako u središtu i posljednji čimbenik koji uvjetuje oblikovanje zborskog zvuka. U ovom diplomskom radu traži se odgovor na pitanje kakva je zaista uloga dirigenta u zboru, te zašto i kako dirigent oblikuje zborski zvuk. Odgovor se traži u doživljaju onih koji izravno percipiraju njegov utjecaj - zborskih izvođača. Posljednji dio rada obuhvaća istraživanje provedeno u Hrvatskoj koje prikazuje dirigenta iz zborske perspektive.

Abstract (english)

The role of a musical conductor has always been present in music in many different ways, but it has only been defined as an autonomous role of an interpreting musician in the second half of the 19th century. A conductor is unquestionably an essential part of choral performance and the central figure of shaping its sound. This thesis is looking for an answer to the question about importance of their role in that, about why and in what way is a conductor shaping the choral sound. The answers were given by those who are directly perceiving the conductor’s influence - the choir. The last part of the thesis focuses on a research about choral perspective of the conductors in Croatia.
