Abstract

U ovom radu, kroz povijesni pregled, prikazat ću pojam balade u književnosti a zatim u glazbi. Osvrnut ću se na četiri balade F. Chopina, te na balade skladatelja C.Debussya. F. Liszta i B. Berse, koje ću ujedno i analizirati. Pisat ću o skladateljima i njihovu glazbenu jeziku, te istražiti predloške i ideje koje su ih motivirale prilikom skladanja.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis, through a historical overview, I will present the notion of ballads in literature and in music. I will look at four ballads by F. Chopin, and ballads by composers C. Debussy. F. Liszt and B. Bersa, which I will also analyze. I will write about composers and their musical language, and explore the templates and ideas that influenced to compose them.
