Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se temom osobnosti Roberta Schumanna i povezanosti iste s njegovim skladanjem, s fokusom na Koncert za violončelo u a-molu, op. 129. Definira se pojam ambivalentnosti i njegovo značenje u slučaju Roberta Schumanna. U radu je opisan skladateljev život, odnosi s okolinom, profesionalni put i afirmiranost u profesionalnom svijetu. Navode se karakteristike Schumannovih izumljenih likova, njegova dva alter-ega Florestana i Eusebiusa, te njihova tumačenja u Koncertu za violončelo u a-molu, op. 129.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this master's thesis is Robert Schumann's personality and connection of it with his way of composing, focusing on the Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in A minor, Op. 129. The term ambivalence and it's meaning in the case of Robert Schumann is defined. The thesis describes composer's life, relationships with people, professional career and affirmation in the professional world. Schumann's invented characters, alter-egoes Florestan and Eusebius are described and their appearances in Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in A minor, Op. 129 are explained.
