Abstract

Ovim radom želim ukazati na bitne promjene i postupke koji su kroz povijest obuhvatili razvoj kontrabasa i njegovu primjenu u praksi, razne izvore djelovanja i aktove pojediniaca koje su definirale današnji standard instrumenta. U praćenju razvoja kontrabasa u orkestru, bitno je spomenuti skladatelje koji su svojim značajnim doprinosom utjecali na razvoj instrumenta. Savjetovanjem brojnih knjiga i tekstova o orkestraciji i orkestralnim izučavanjima za kontrabas, ustanovljeno je da su djela Haydna, Mozarta, Beethovena, Berlioza, Verdija, Wagnera, Straussa, Debussya, Bartoka i Stravynskog bila najčešće prominentno diskutirana. Pretpostavkom da su navedeni skladatelji bili najutjecajniji za razvoj kontrabasa, napravljena je analiza za 18. i 19. stoljeće sa tri faze gledišta: udvostručavanje dionice, tip materijala i inovacije i opće značajke.

Abstract (english)

With this work, I want to point out the important changes and procedures that have historically covered the development of double bass and its application in practice, various sources of action and acts of individuals that defined today's instrument standard. In the follow-up of the orchestra's double bass development, it is important to mention composers who have contributed significantly to the development of the instrument by their significant contribution. By advising numerous books and texts on orchestration and orchestral contrabass studies, it was found that the works of Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Berlioz, Verdi, Wagner, Strauss, Debussy, Bartok and Stravynski were mostly discussed prominently. The assumption that these composers were the most influential for the development of double basses, an analysis of the 18th and 19th centuries was made with three phases of view: doubling, material type and innovation and general features.
