Abstract
Johannes Brahms jedan je od najznačajnijih skladatelja u povijesti glazbe. U njegovu bogatu opusu istaknuto mjesto pripada simfonijama. Ovaj diplomski rad donosi cjelovitu formalnu i harmonijsku analizu Brahmsove Treće simfonije. Uz analitički dio simfonije, u radu se nalaze i poglavlja koja opisuju razvoj simfonije kao glazbene forme, kao i skladateljeva biografija te popis njegovih najvažnijih skladbi.
