Abstract
Moderna muzika obuhvaća relativno veliko vremensko razdoblje u kojem se dogodilo zaista mnogo novog, interesantnog i originalnog. Međutim, u tom moru produktivnog traženja i sukobljavanja, rezultati nisu uvijek bili jednaki onim silnim naporima da bi se zaboravilo staro i stvorilo nešto potpuno novo. Ta revolucija u području muzičke umjetnosti i kulture ima duboki korijen u društveno-političkim prilikama svijeta na prelomu dvaju stoljeća, u prilikama koje se neprestano mijenjaju sve do naših dana.
