Abstract

Tema ovog rada jest život i djelo najuglednijeg predstavnika sjevernonjemačkog baroka, te istodobno posljednjeg velikog skladatelja svoga doba – Dietericha Buxtehudea. Ovaj genijalni skladatelj kroz svoja djela otkriva svestranost i originalnost osobnosti, ali i iznimnu inventivnost. U ovom radu, uz njegov život i djelo, pisat ću i o načinu izvođenja njegovih djela, sa naglaskom na kraljicu instrumenata - orgulje.

Abstract (english)

The theme of this work is life and work of the most prominent representative of the north German baroque, and at the same time the last great composer of his time - Dieterich Buxtehude. Through his compositions, this brilliant composer reveals the versatility and originality of his personality, as well as exceptional inventiveness. In this paper, along with his life and work, I will also write about performance of his compositions, with an emphasis on the queen of all instruments - the organ.
